A Full Report
In order to have meaningful student input, students need to be able to fully review all of the UPASS options proposed. To do this, students should have access to a comprehensive and transparent report on UPASS options.
A UPASS Referendum
A decision on a UPASS system must be based on student input. The GW UPASS Coalition believes the best way to ensure student voices are heard is an SA Referendum on the UPASS options.
Student Driven Decision
Any decision on a UPASS system for GW must be based on the will of those the system will serve, students. We believe that every stage of the UPASS conversation between GW and WMATA must be driven by real student input.

A UPASS whose prices work for the students that need it most, commuters and graduate students.
Fee can be covered by federal student loans
A UPASS fee that can be covered by federal student loans to ensure access for low income students.
Easy to Use
A UPASS that is easy for students to understand, sign up for and use.
Sustainable Pricing
UPASS pricing that will support the system over the long term, and avoid rate hikes on students.
