What is the GW UPASS Coalition?

At the end of the spring semestr report will likely be issued proposing a number of options for a GW University Pass(UPASS) system to give students access to more affordable transit on the Metrorail and Metrobus. Our goal is to ensure that real student input drives the UPASS process at GW. To that end we support the publishing of a comprehensive report on the options, and a student referendum. 

The GW UPASS Coalition is a campaign by individual students and student organizations to engage students about the options, receive feedback, and advocate for the right program for GW before the vote. We believe that the right UPASS system should be affordable, easy to use, able to be covered by federal loans and sustainable pricing.
